USA, 1960s
A long vintage bench in an open grain, black lacquered finish. Solid oak, but no maker's marks are visible- it looks similar to Wormley
designs, and also recalls the Asian-inspired styles by James Mont. It may have been refinished at some point in its life- the finish is either original or professionally done. The top surface has
butterfly joints along the center, and the cylindrical legs terminate in brass caps. Sturdy, heavy, extra-long- 6 feet in length. In excellent condition. The sculpted apron lends a nice
view on this piece from all angles.
DIMENSIONS: 72" L x 15" D x 16.25" H
CONDITION NOTES: Very good condition, one flaw at center (ding to finish, 1/4"x 1/4"").
