Italian Hollywood Regency style sheaf of wheat cocktail table, unique smaller size with thick oval glass top and a beveled edge. Salvador Dali reportedly gifted Coco Chanel an occasional table with a similar base for her Paris apartment on Rue Cambon. The gilded wheat shape is now an iconic classic. The sheaf of wheat symbolizes prosperity, abundance and happiness. This would be a great size for a den, smaller living room, or in a bedroom. Glass is 1/2" thick with a beveled edge.
CONDITION NOTES: Some wear to gilt finish; very fine, age-appropriate scratches to glass; no chipping.
