USA, 1950s
Exceptional mid-century tufted wide angle sofa after Dunbar or McCobb. This is a fantastic sofa of top quality construction in original taupe linen fabric. The sofa has a beautiful
proportion and tufted back. It is heavier than it appears and is solidly constructed. Sofa has a few areas where the fabric upholstery is showing some wear or light spotting. The foam is not
crunchy but could use at least dacron wrapping as the fabric is 'loose'. The sofa does not have any vintage odor. No labels. Similar to styles by Dunbar, Edward Wormley, Paul McCobb, Schoonbeck,
Widdicomb, and others from this period.
This is one piece construction and is not a sectional. Legs screw in and can be removed to fit through doors or for shipping. Just a phenomenal sofa with a lot of classic glamour/
DIMENSIONS: Length to angle is 83 in; Width of angled part is 38 inches; Sofa measures 31 deep; Overall height is 29.5 inches / seat height 16.5 inches.
