All original Charles and Ray Eames molded fiberglass shell armchair with rope edge and original checkerboard label in excellent condition. Modern color in a warm taupe with natural zinc X base.
So nice to look at- an excellent sculptural, museum quality piece.
No structural issues. Large shock mounts are in good, firm condition. Shell edges are in very good condition with no breaks or damage. All original hardware, all glides on the base are
present. An original Eames design, NOT a reproduction. Can't overstate the appeal of the fiberglass weave, colors, contrast, perfect construction of all the parts- a fine, stunning example of
some of America's best and pioneering mid-century.
