USA, 1960s
Round walnut dining table designed by Paul McCobb for Widdicomb. The table goes from a 42" x 42" round up to a max of 114" via four 18" leaves. There are two center legs that deploy from the
underside of the table for additional support when using the leaves. Includes table pads.
Note: Dining chairs pictured have sold.
CONDITION NOTES: Walnut surfaces are generally in very good condition especially considering their age. Leaves are a close match and have been cared for. I would guess the table
was kept with the pads on it. There are a few small marks at the edges and nicks to the finish.
The table has the 4 outside legs but also two center legs that were designed to store beneath the table top when used as a smaller table (such as a round or with 1 leaf); one is currently
attached to the underside of the table, but does not lock up to store out of sight. The second leg is included but is not attached to the table. It needs to be re-attached- see photos.
This is very serviceable but is currently offered 'as is'.
