USA, 1950s
Set of six Paul McCobb Planner Group dining chairs in maple made by Winchendon. This classic style in golden maple offers a modernized Shaker-style design. These were longtime
residents at the family cottage of one of the owners of Bergsma Brothers. This ownership also owned Calvin Furniture, which also produced pieces designed by Paul McCobb.
CONDITION NOTES: Chairs have an even amount of allover patina- scuffing and general marks allover. One chair has had one leg repaired with screws.
This leg is stable. A second chair has also had 1 leg repaired with screws- this leg shows some movement. In the photo where all chair undersides are shown, these are the first and second
chairs. Remnants of original labels remain on the undersides as pictured.
