A pair of full sized 1970s cube chairs on chrome bases made by Stow & Davis. Chairs have been newly upholstered in charcoal grey velvet with all new top grade foam. The chairs sit on chrome plinth bases. Chairs are very comfortable and have great lines, particularly when viewed side by side as a pair. The chrome bases have some very light marks but are overall in very good condition.
The style is similar to designs by Roger Sprunger, Milo Baughman, or Warren Platner. Stow & Davis was a very high end executive furniture maker that was eventually purchased by Steelcase. Designers for Stow & Davis include Osvaldo Borsani, M. F. Harty, and others.
