USA, 1960s
Pair of maple four drawer chest dressers designed by Jack Cartwright for Founders. These offer a clean lined profile with geometric chrome pulls. You could place them side by side for the effect
of a longer dresser (yet easier to maneuver and move into place). Each chest is wide, yet narrower than most at 15.5". They'd also work well as a large nightstands. Great in natural blonde, but
would also look fantastic in a glossy solid lacquer- royal blue, emerald green, yellow, black, red, white, pink!
CONDITION NOTES:
Includes 2 chests in the same style and dimension in slightly varying condition.
Chest 1: there is a dent at right side base; general overall marks and age appropriate wear on this piece. Some marks inside drawers.
Chest 2: Overall in very good condition; this one is a shade darker, except for the top, which originally had a hutch on it, so is a lighter shade of maple. Small ding at right
side. Small separation to faces of plinth at lower left, pictured. Clean interior drawers.
DIMENSIONS: 40" W x 15.5" D x 28" H, each
