Model 4875 chair in classic white by Carlo Bartoli for Kartell. This is a great chair for kids and adults alike as it is made from a very durable plastic. The chair is a single polyproylene body of seat and backrest. The seat's base features a double-perimeter structure: the internal structure and cross element firmly connect the legs, while three external side flaps strengthen the surface of the seat. The ergonomic look is given by the concave curve of the backrest and the two lateral flaps, making it at the same time more solid.
It was nominated for the 1979 Compasso D’Oro, and since 2000 it has been added to the permanent collection of the National Arts Museum – Centre Pompidou (Paris), and of the Kartell Museum (Milano). Its high impact-resistance and weather-resistance permit both indoor and outdoor use.
CONDITION NOTES: Light Marks and age appropriate wear.
