USA, 1960s
Set of midcentury swivel barstools in American black walnut. This set of barstools features solid walnut construction, swivel seats, and round chrome kick rails, offering modern flair and a
comfortable perch. They are good looking, very practical given the swivel and kick rail, and offer a classic midcentury look.
We've seen similar barstools attributed to John Yellen for I.V. Chairs of Brooklyn and also to Chet Beardsley.
CONDITION NOTES: These stools were completely and professionally knocked apart, reglued, and the bases restored. The swivel mechanism works great. Some oxidation to the chrome
foot ring around the bases. Upholstery is in cream vinyl and is in good original condition- it has no rips or tears but has some very slight discoloration.
DIMENSIONS: Seat is 15" in diameter; Overall, 16.5" x 16.5" x 27" H
