Herman Miller George Nelson Two Seater Loveseat, Model 4677. This early George Nelson design is only 64" wide- making it a great seating choice for a smaller living room, bedroom, or den. The
solid birch legs have an angular shape; a single row of button tufts across the back lends perfect punctuation to the chunky form. The arms are perfectly square, yet don't take up too much space
at the ends- and are contrasted nicely by the rounded edges at each side of the seat. Despite its shorter length, this piece presents as a small sofa, not as a loveseat.
Pictured in the 1952 Herman Miller catalog- it looks great with other Herman Miller pieces!
CONDITION NOTES: Presents well; there are some marks and staining to the fabric toward the front of the seat. No rips. Some marks to the solid birch legs. No maker's marks
present.
