USA, 1950s
Early Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman in Rosewood and black leather. Down filled cushions, old style clips.
CONDITION NOTES: Black leather has some splitting seams, which is most noticeable on the ottoman and the right armrest. Small chip to side shell of the ottoman; rosewood shells
appear to be evenly dry and sunfaded. No structural damage and zero drilling through any of the rosewood shells. Light scuffing to bases; overall present well. Patent label on the underside of
the chair; cushions labeled as down and feather filled. One button missing on ottoman; the other button appears to be a replacement (diameter seems too large). Small tears to the surface of the
leather (not through). Please see photos.
