USA, 1960s
Midcentury rosewood cabinet by Harvey Probber with attractive black pulls backed in chrome. Ebonized oak plinth base and white oak interior with one single, three position adjustable
shelf. Very clean and nicely constructed from beautiful exotic rosewood veneers with deep variation in tone from blacks to deep reds (appears to be a solid oak substrate). The doors
latch closed and have an attractive chamfer on each door that fits together when closed. This smaller cabinet is an excellent height for placing a television on; it could also be used as a large
bedside table. An excellent multipurpose piece for a living room or bedroom. Classic lines and design. No maker's marks.
