Italy, 1980s
Set of four gestural stacking armchairs by Pascal Mourgue and made by Vecta. This chair was designed for the exhibition Vivre en Coleur, which was organized by the Cartier
Foundation. Mourgue was the winner of the first prize. These chairs are line art for your interior or even patio.
CONDITION NOTES: Dated upholstery; some rust in places on chair frames from use outdoors. I would change the seat fabric and powder coat the chairs. The existing finish
has some chips and rust beginning and it is a very 1980s/1990s grey finish that is not a solid grey- kind of speckled effect. Would look great in black, white, or a bright color. Chair seats
unscrew at the bottom.
