USA, 1950s
Pair of mid-century modern armchairs with solid walnut frames. This pair is obviously designer but has no maker's marks. They were purchased from a Chicago architect who worked under Frank
Lloyd Wright. Pleasing geometry from many angles. Super chunky, substantial American black walnut frames with attractive X-bases.
Chairs have been completely reupholstered with all new foam. The fabric is Designtex Lambert in Fog, a beautifully textured, Belgian-made boucle (content: 23% Rayon, 35% Cotton, 36% Wool, 6%
Nylon / rated 55, 000 Wyzenbeek- $69/yard).
DIMENSIONS: 36" W x 34" D x 27.5" H; Seat Height, 17"
