Pair of Eames Aluminum Group Lounge Chairs

USA, 1960s

Pair of high-back lounge chairs with swivel / tilt function designed by Charles and Ray Eames and manufactured by Herman Miller as part of the Aluminum Group collection. Composed of royal blue channeled hopsak seats on four-point contract bases with original glides. Both are stamped on their bases with the Herman Miller logo.

In this series, this is my favorite silhouette- a low, armless lounge with a high back and just the right curve to them. They look fantastic from all angles.
