Round dining table with carved rope and tassel design. Designed and manufactured by Andre Originals, a custom furniture manufacturer in Brooklyn, New York specializing in finely carved wood
pieces. The company was founded in the 1950s by Andre and Jeanette Blitz. Open design with four curving legs. Table is unmarked but was purchased with matching dining chairs signed 'Andre
Originals Mfg Co. Linden, NJ.' Glass top is 54" diameter with a pencil polished edge and is 3/8" thick. You could also use a smaller diameter glass top for this piece.
CONDITION NOTES: Overall marks and wear to the finish. Difference in the white tone from the round top section to the legs. Table appears to have been painted at some point.
Glass top is in good condition with only light surface scratches and no chipping.
DIMENSIONS: 54" Diameter x 29.75" H; Table base alone (without glass) measures 35" Diameter x 29.25" H. Glass is 1/2" thickness.
