Likely 1950s, unknown origin
Vintage linen table runner with hand-embroidery allover. Each corner of the runner has three small fringed ties- my favorite detail. The ends have a blue border that contains what I think are griffins. Flowers border the top and bottom of the griffin fields and there are leaves below that. The pattern feels Scandinavian. It is all hand stitched and an incredible amount of handwork! If you know anything about these motifs, please send me a message.
CONDITION NOTES: In overall excellent condition especially considering its age; a couple of very tiny marks you have to look for; one end has a wear hole in the chest area of one of the griffins.
